Doesn’t this look divine?

I envision myself doing a lot of this in California (but on a beach). Her Goji Ginger Lemonade looks amazing! I’ve never had a Goji berry but I’d be willing to try it! Spring has definitely arrived because I can’t stop sneezing. So instead I’m staying inside (packing, too) and perusing all the delicious lemonade recipes on Pinterest. Enjoy my favorites below:

Watermelemonade

I’m a volunteer for the Arizona Basset Hound Rescue, and for our Chip in for the Hounds Casino Night event (which my friend Renata designed the logo for), Ree Drummond, a.k.a. The Pioneer Woman, graciously donated 100 autographed “Charlie” books. To raise money, we sold them for $10 each.

And I bought one. Unfortunately it was a pre-order and I JUST now received it.

And guess what? Charlie signed it, too!

How sweet is Ree Drummond?! I really wish she would schedule a book-signing tour to Phoenix already. It’s just not fair! My friend Katie got to meet her and I’m so jealous.

For now I’m adding this to my baby box.

Saw the American version of The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo tonight and was shocked by how incredible it was. I’ve read all of the books by Stieg Larsson and am quite the critic. But I wasn’t disappointed, whatsoever. The person that impressed me the most was Miss Rooney Mara. She was electrifying, brilliant, captivating, mesmerizing. Spot on. She TRANSFORMED into the literary heroin Lisabeth Salander so perfectly that I’m still in awe!

Rooney, you and your red lipstick amaze me. I can’t wait for the 2nd movie!!! Hurry and start filming it.
