Happy birthday to my beautiful mother. This lady is the best at entertaining and adding a touch of love to anything. I particularly miss her drop-ins at my old office with a treat from AJ’s or Starbucks.

I have been addicted to blueberries lately so this works out wonderfully. I’m so excited to follow this magazine! And it looks like the magazine is coming to stores soon, too.
Woke up this morning to a blue sky and birds chirping. Such a beautiful day!
Rob and I brought our sectional couch with us out to California and after we set it up in our living room, realized it was way too big. So, we sold it. After a really nice couple from the West side snatched it up, we were couchless for a good week. We promised ourselves that whatever couch we buy would be comfy and relatively smaller. Especially since our current living room is already small to begin with And, as you know, everything keeps falling into place and consequently, our friend Olive was selling HER couch. One we’ve seen before and liked. We bought it for a smokin’ deal and it’s rather “beachy”! It’s also a Rowe, which I hear is one of the best.
She also sold us her antique coffee table which I LOVE. I mean LOVE.
I really want to make our little home feel comfortable and cozy. And beachy. Next on my list is a couch table to put behind the couch for my glass lamps and more art for the walls.
What do you consider your house “style” to be?
I have a few posts left on Greece still to get up but wanted to share this first. Our 2nd day on Santorini was spent in Oia and before I get you all the details, here are some pics from our donkey ride. It was definitely on my list of things to do on the island and laughed the entire way up. It was so much fun!

Lucy now does a little hop when she’s about to eat. Sort of like this corgi, but not as cute. I do think she’s trimmed a little since being here. And while you’re at it, you should watch the corgi flop, too.
Also toying with the idea of making a Goldendoodle our next dog, after a basset that is.
