Our little Walker baby is officially a year old. And it was, without a doubt, the fastest year of my life. How is this little second babe of ours one??!! I never imagined that we could love a second as much as our first, but the love is so deep and so real. Walker is absolutely delicious and such a pleasure to be around. Seeing how different he is from Jace just warms my heart. I’m pretty sure he’s going to be our sky-diving, never settle down, heartbreaking adventurer. This kid doesn’t stop moving. There was no chance of over stimulating him on his birthday either. He actually out partied us all, and was up late playing with his new birthday hoop game, running circles around the downstairs, snacking late and laughing himself into our arms over and over again. So much heart and soul, and those eyes!

This week is already a blur. And it’s only Wednesday. But for now I’m going to stare at this photo and laugh. I get the best mid-stance shots of Walker. Cracks me up. He’s always moving!
What can I say, Easter was wonderful this year. It’s a very special day to celebrate indeed, that he has risen! And what’s even more special is listening to Jace tell the story about Jesus dying on the cross and rising from the grave after. Before we went to service at our church, the boys looked for their Easter buckets and quickly went to town on all the toys and goodies. Walker especially loved his mini basketball hoop!
My friend Kristin got these shirts for my boys while she was in Greece last year and I’ve been dying for them to wear them together. Turns out Easter was the best day they could be matching. At church and around town, we felt so European. Almost like we were living in Jesus’ day. And somehow the boys lasted all day in them. Easy breezy material!
Why Jace wants to pose like this for our family photo at the Palo Alto Jr Museum and Zoo last weekend I’ll never know. I believe this was before he starting itching his butt in public hahahahaha. I see so much of Robby in him, and I love it.
