Easter shenanigans

What can I say, Easter was wonderful this year. It’s a very special day to celebrate indeed, that he has risen! And what’s even more special is listening to Jace tell the story about Jesus dying on the cross and rising from the grave after. Before we went to service at our church, the boys looked for their Easter buckets and quickly went to town on all the toys and goodies. Walker especially loved his mini basketball hoop!

Easter service was downtown at the Civic Auditorium again. Jace was supposed to go up on stage to sing with all the other kids but even after a run through the day before, he was a little too shy to get up there with the loud music. Maybe next year.

  After we went home and enjoyed some patio time, and played with all the toys from their Easter buckets. We made some filets and finished off our day with carrot cake – what is Easter without carrot cake I say! Hope you all had a lovely holiday weekend, whatever you did!
