Have I mentioned how much I love this show yet? Well, I LOVE it. It’s so wrong, but so hilarious – just what you need after a long week at work when you’re feeling a little brain-dead. Charlie Day pretty much RULES.

These women are the most beautiful ladies on television right now. Just gorgeous. If you don’t already watch Downton Abbey, you need to. So amazing!
Ever since Dawson’s Creek, I’ve been a total CW junkie. I love the juvenile, teeny-bop trash TV. I’m a HUGE fan of The Vampire Diaries, and Gossip Girl. And now I can’t stop watching Beauty & the Beast. The whole, girl falls for the bad boy who turns into a beast – I dig it. Not sure if it will last, but I’ll be tuning in every Thursday in the meantime.

I can’t stop thinking about our future home, {and future garden kitchen}. One day, we’ll have some open space, a yard for the dogs, a couple fireplaces and a garden. Would love to grow our own vegetables, fruits and herbs. To go out and pick what we need for a dinner party menu or new recipe. Let’s see what God has in store for us. In the meantime I’ll be praying for a home in the hills with good soil.
Friday night we took hot coffee to the beach, collected shells by the light of our iPhones and popped a squat to watch the Aptos fireworks. After the extravaganza {and my scare of seeing mer-people}, we drove back to our cottage. On the way back I started singing something so incredibly random, which included the lyrics “She’s so dangerous” {don’t ask me how I started singing this}, and it somehow sparked Rob’s memory of a Roxette song he listened to with his mom when he was younger. The song? Dangerous, by Roxette.
As we started going through their old songs and videos, I realized how many songs I knew! We bought the greatest hits CD and rocked out all weekend. I’m confident you know this group; they’re famous for “It Must Have Been Love” from Pretty Woman. But, I’m almost certain that “Dangerous” is my fave now:
