Gift idea for your girlfriends on Valentine’s Day: Hot Cakes

My design agency attended the Fancy Food show up in San Francisco in January and were introduced to all sorts of new brands and food trends. One in particular was a hit with our group of ladies — Hot Cakes Molten Chocolate Cakery! Their entire collection rocked our world. Created by the amazing Autumn Martin, she’s taken the popular chocolate lava cake concept to a whole new level, with her mini molten chocolate cakes. Her other confections raise the chocolate bar as well, with her organic caramel sauces {including a rye whiskey caramel sauce}, smoked chocolate chips,  s’more kits, and bling blings {their reinvented ding dong}. If Rob and I ever make it up to Seattle anytime soon, we WILL be visiting her cakery. Plus, it looks like they have a killer happy hour, with boozy shakes?! What?! I’m in.

I immediately thought “who can I send these molten chocolate cakes to for Valentine’s Day??” {Plus, who wouldn’t enjoy chocolate on Valentine’s Day?!}. . . Answer: some of my Arizona “hot cakes”! ;)

As I mentioned, their molten chocolate cake in a mason jar is their speciality. All you do is take and bake for 15 minutes! The organic chocolate cake goodness oozes out when you start scooping into it. It’s so decadent it can be shared with a friend or significant other :) Brilliant! I added a set of 4 to my cart and shipped these cakes off for my girls in AZ to enjoy!

Here’s s’more of their amazing products — Pacific sea salt caramel and rye whiskey caramel, ding dings, and smoked chocolate chips – perfect for a different kind of chocolate chip cookie {yum!}. Get your hot cakes!!!!!!

{Their packaging is pretty amazing, too. Absolutely stunning!}
