On Sunday my sister threw me a little impromtu sprinkle shower, something small with family and a few of my closest friends. It was seriously the most beautiful day, from start to finish. I originally didn’t want any kind of shower since I really have everything from the first go around, but realized how lovely it was just to have a girls outing to mentally decompress and take a break before the rush of having another at home becomes a reality.
We went to Arcadia Farms Cafe in downtown Scottsdale, a darling little brunch/lunch spot with a gorgeous patio. The table details included home-made cactus-shaped sugar cookies with an orange and grapefruit glaze – not to mention the pistachio crumble on top – a jar of grapefruit sugar scrub for all, and cactus stamped doilies and straws and centerpieces to go around. As you may know, we’re calling this one my little cactus/Arizona babe. Quite the fad now. Lunch was perfect and so were the little gifts. I couldn’t have asked for an easier, breezier day! I sure do love these ladies. Now I just need this baby to come!
Thanks sister for such a nice afternoon! And to Kristin and Sarah for all the fabulous details!
