October shenanigans

img_1991Even though it’s October in these parts, it’s still pretty hot out. We’re trying to keep our cool, if you know what I mean. We’ve already had a very busy Fall. With October comes Fall break, where Jace gets to take a break from daycare and hang out with family, and me! All I can say is our days and weekends have been jam packed with activities, park dates and road trips! I feel almost hung over.

On my day with Jace, I planned a morning for us at the McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park. It’s seriously one of the best parks around these parts. And Jace LOVES the train. We rode it twice. Then it was getting a little too hot for comfort and we peaced out.

Jace was of course still a trooper. Poor tigers and bears were either panting or splashing around in the waterfalls! We might try the Zoo again later in November so we can make it around to all the animals.

We got the idea from Oh Joy! and thankfully Kristin had all the crazy supplies to make it all happen! Even Rob got in the mix to make a couple. Jace simply told us what to add to the puppets. More feet. More hats. >D I sure do love my friend Kristin. She’s truly one of the best.
