Soquel

I’m sorry

But I’m married to one sexy man:

Last weekend we finally celebrated our 4-year anniversary. No gifts needed, just a spendy dinner out is how we do it. We dined at Cafe Cruz in Soquel and while we sipped on wine and ate crab cakes, we made our next 5-year plan (we’re pretty big on visualizing the future if you can’t tell).

Happy Anniversary Rob! I love you so much.

Pet sitting

Rudy bega

We had Rudy for the weekend and loved every minute of it. He has the best smile and hops I’ve ever seen.

Lucy & Rudy are best friends. They can share a front seat no problem!

Come back soon Rudy!

Santa Cruz

Second Sundays

Every second Sunday of the month, there is a huge antique fair in downtown Santa Cruz. After church on Sunday I dragged Robby along with me and I’m so happy I did because we both thought it was INCREDIBLE! I could have bought a million things… except I don’t have the space…or budget. I so wish we had Margie with us, Rob’s Grandma. She would have went CRAZY!

Love swim caps:

And scarves:

In addition to the scarves I bought, I picked up a couple necklaces, too. Unfortunately, I lost one at the beach yesterday. So sad.

Rob also found some good finds:

Here’s a little Grease flashback for you! Rydell high!

Can’t wait for May’s Sunday! Happy Monday all!

Santa Cruz

Stations of the Cross

Happy Easter friends!

Rob and I did something really special this year. Our church, Vintage Faith, put on their own version of Stations of the Cross, their 7th year in doing so. Stations of the Cross is an interactive art show placed in downtown Santa Cruz the Friday and Saturday before Easter. It’s a series of 12 stations that represent Jesus’ journey from praying in the garden to his death and resurrection.

We really enjoyed going through each station and reliving the story and powerful milestones. The art was pretty amazing, too – as were the descriptions the artists provided of their pieces in their relation to Jesus’ journey.

What did you all do for the holiday?

Farmer's Market flowers

Farmer’s market flowers

First I typed “Farmer’s Marketing flowers”. Hahahaha. Picked these up at the farmer’s market at Cabrillo College this morning. Aren’t they darling? I’m so in the mood for red. I consider the basil bouquet flowers too since I love the smell so much.

Hope you’re all having a nice Easter weekend!
