Some things to mention

We FINALLY found a church. It’s called Redemption, which is basically the same church we used to go to when we lived here before but a different location.  I also put Jace in flannel to dress him up a little and at breakfast after I couldn’t help thinking how older he looks. Especially with his watch on, just like Daddy.

 

The other day I warmed up my coffee 5 times. 5 TIMES.  I had to document.

Our little garden is sprouting peppers and jalepanos, and my compost is doing GREAT. I’m so glad the cooler temps are kickstarting some of our seeds!

This past weekend we started potty training, and I surprisingly had an awesome time while doing so! We made a whole thing out of it; we took Jace to Target to pick out his own undies, got a cover for the toilet, stickers for aiming and M&Ms for rewarding. When Jace pooped in the toilet I was genuinely excited and so ridiculously happy to see him look so accomplished. Same with the peeing. Although I think he’d prefer to pee in our backyard .. he’s getting better with peeing in the toilet, regardless of the accidents. Only on day 2, so hoping this new routine sticks.

Also, the Goodwills in Scottsdale are AWESOME. I can’t believe how much NICE stuff we found recently. For one, we found this lazy boy for $50! Jace has already taken ownership of it. It’s the perfect color, and just needs a little fixing on one of the arms. This is Jace’s face for “don’t take my picture mom, I’m chilling.”

Oh, and we went to a wedding! Feels like forever since I’ve been to a wedding so I was so excited. It was a great wedding — the ceremony, the appetizers, open bar .. the smore favors, and a cookie and milk bar!! It was nice to get out on the dance floor with Rob again, we both love it. I met some really nice girls at the wedding, too, from Northern Cal. No wonder I loved them. I forgot how magical weddings can be. It’s so much fun to celebrate love.
